I was given a Monty as one of my wedding presents last year. It's been absolutely perfect for our lives every since. The bag is durable enough that I never have to worry about where or how I use it. I've used it as a day-trip backpack for short overnight stays a couple times, with enough space for basics. My wife likes to be able to put some groceries in there so that she can do the rest of her errand without worrying about the meat or eggs spoiling in the trunk. It's fantastic for hikes, and since I love to walk in the rain it keeps food and spare clothes nice and dry for after the trip and even fits the back from my Camelback in there to keep my water cold.

The only thing we need is likely another, larger bag for holiday food transport and/or when we have kids. And another Monty so we both have one.
