Welcome to the Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games, East Tennessee's premier celebration of Scottish culture and history. Originally founded in 1981 as the Gatlinburg Scottish Festival and Games, we are one of the oldest Scottish Festivals in the country.  You don't have to be Scottish in order to enjoy this unique Festival! The Greenville Scottish Games anchors Gallabrae, and embodies the finest of Scottish traditions brought to new levels of excellence. The Greenville Scottish Games began in 2006, and from its inception has consistently taken an innovative, fresh approach to celebrating Scottish heritage. Ceud mile failte to you and your family as you join us in celebrating the history of our Scottish ancestry and cheer as you watch the clans compete in Meeks Park. 

Highland dancers, Scottish athletes, family clans, bagpipes and drums and traditional musicians come to celebrate their heritage. Even if you don’t know your family’s heritage or have little or no Scottish ties come experience Scotland without the need of a passport or international flight across the ocean.

Sheep dogs and falcons and birds of prey all come with their handlers. Scottish Athletes, Highland dancers, pipers and drummers all come to experience Scotland here in the highlands of North Georgia. The dogs will herd their sheep on the lower ball field while the falcons take the main field for their demonstrations. The blacksmith/knife smith demonstrations and Clann Nan Con will be in set up in the vendor area.
