An exceptionally warm luxury sock made with a blend of alpaca and merino wool. Alpaca fiber is soft, supple and smooth and contains microscopic air pockets which act as insulators keeping in the warmth provided by the wool. The Merino rebounds better than Alpaca, which provides better cushioning, and helps keep the air pockets open to optimize the insulating capacity. A Health Sock® with no tight elastic top to restrict circulation. Note: as Alpaca is a luxury fiber these socks are not recommended for high abrasion use such as work boots. This great sport sock is made with fine merino wool inside and mercerized cotton on the outside. The micro terry fine wool cushion sole provides extra bounce but is fine enough to fit in any sports shoes. The cotton on the outside absorbs sweat, helping to keep your feet dry and comfortable. The white sock has a CoolMax® cuff which will wick away perspiration and the 2% CoolMax® content reduces its wool content to 65%.
