Fever is a dual side finished, jersey knit throw featuring an eye-catching striped design in green, orange, navy and white. The jersey knit style is a single-side finished process. St Albans does not do anything single side finished, so they have given Fever a contrasting pattern on the reverse. 2 Throws in 1. St Albans Fuchsia combines the classic Herringbone pattern with an eye-popping Pink which makes the statement “This is not your Grandfather’s old wool blanket”. Fuchsia weaves an attitude of fun and strength into a classic pattern which stands the test of time. It says, “I’m here, and I’m here to stay.” And stay most comfortable you will along the way. Crafted from the finest pure Australian Merino Wool from which you can weave an heirloom quality piece, the St Albans collection of fine Merino throws have warmed hearts, and toes, for 70 years. Light, simple, elastic, and extremely soft, St Albans Merino Throws offer a level of luxurious comfort in all conditions, at any time of the year. Warmer than Cotton, and still very breathable, fine Merino Wool is equally suitable for a chilly Winter day, or a cool Summer night. Recent shortages in the caliber of Merino wool fine enough to meet St Alban’s standards have driven prices to a point where St Albans has put Byron and the rest of the Merino family back into the vault for a while. The eventual retail price would simply be higher than St Albans believes appropriate. And they will not lower their quality standards. As for this wonderful throw, and the other Merino’s in our collection … Act quickly, they are the last available for possibly quite some time. We should know, we emptied the St Albans warehouse when the announcement was made, and we are offering the remaining stocks to our Friends at prices below the recommended retail price. Quality.
