In designing the Kimberley, we started with the classic Australian Ladies Barn Jacket, then we customized it for the modern American woman.

Crafted from rugged, water repellent 9oz Australian Oilskin (waxed cotton) canvas, the Kimberley is designed for 3-season comfort. The Kimberley keeps the wind, rain, snow & ice out, keeping you comfy and cozy no matter what Mother Nature brings your way. The Kimberley is gently tailored to fit and flatter the female form, and the stylish twin sizing tabs on the sides allow you to shape your jacket based on your dress for the day. Taper your jacket in for a shapelier fit. Adjust the snaps out for added comfort when layering a sweater underneath.

Comfort and style are the essence of the Kimberley. The collar is finished in a soft, stylish, water-proofed Nubuck leather. The pockets are lined with corduroy to help keep your hands warm. The sleeves are slightly extended to overlap your gloves on those cold and damp days. The cuffs are lined with corduroy so that they are soft on your wrist and add a touch of style when cuffed up. The strap & stud trim at the cuff allows you the ability to snug the cuff around your wrist if you prefer.

Around the side and back of your Kimberley are twin straps & studs for sizing your jacket. Use the inner snap to take a little out of the body for a more tapered fit. Use the outer snap for a little more room on those days when you want to layer a sweater underneath or need more mobility. The Kimberley also features twin, double-studded rear hip vents for added comfort and mobility when riding, seated, or for other outdoor activities. A rugged & reliable YKK zip, shielded from the elements with a press stud flap keeps you comfy in your Kimberley, while presenting a classic finish.

On the inside, we have updated the lining and the pockets to create a jacket for the modern American woman. Your Kimberley is still largely lined with a soft, comfortable, cotton Tartan lining. However, from the hip vents to the bottom seam, we have added an anti-wicking nylon lining to prevent moisture from soaking into you jacket while you enjoy your outdoor activities.

Americans like pockets, so pockets you will have. The Kimberley features a pair of deep, mirrored, interior breast pockets. Each sized to fit today's larger smartphones. The drop-in pocket is leather-trimmed to make it easier to access, and the other pocket has a zipper-top for securing your valuables. At the base of your Kimberley you will find twin zip-top security pockets hidden behind the anti-wicking lining. Positioned on the Left and Right sides, just inside the zipper, these pockets are perfectly sized and placed to conveniently stow your smartphone, wallet, keys, cosmetics or other sundries.
