The gift which launched a business … It was January 2000 when a dear friend gave us the gift of a Wooly Wine Cooler, upon returning from a Holiday trip to Australia. WOW! ... We had never seen anything like it.

Crafted from rugged, water-repellant oilskin canvas, and insulated with pure Australian wool, your Wooly Wine Cooler will adopt the temperature of whatever you put in it, and hold that temperature for hours. Whether by the pool, the patio, out on the water, picnicking with friends, or at the dining room table; the last glass from each bottle tastes just as fresh and refreshing as the first.

In 2005, our founding partner, David Phillips (then age 12), launched Southpaw Express to bring these great Australian coolers to the USA. Thanks to this young entrepreneur, you can now keep your whites perfectly chilled, or your reds at cellar temp, from the first sip to the last. Oh, and "Wooly Wine 1" as we lovingly call the original, it is still serving our family and friends brilliantly all these many years later.
